Belmont has taken on the role of facilitating social and
educational programmes aimed at developing its staff and
members of the community. A summer school, kite flying
competition and health fair as well as participation in the local
chamber of commerce cricket competition,
feature on the annual calendar of the
company.
A non-profit organisation, Belmont Estate
Heritage Foundation, was recently formed to promote and
preserve the island's heritage. The establishment of a community library,
and introduction of a mentorship and an adopt-a-child programme
would soon be introduced.
Following the passage of Hurricane Ivan Belmont Estate
established a charitable organisation to
assist Grenadians with the rebuilding process. For how you can
assist click here Hearts and Hands.
